In November, Cambodia celebrates what happens when water and people move together during the Water Festival. This year, we bring the spirit of the Water Festival online to support access to safe drinking water for primary school children across Cambodia. Water in Schools
Since 2008, Teuk Saat 1001 has provided safe drinking water to rural primary schools through its network of local water entrepreneurs. Children are particularly vulnerable to waterborne diseases, making access to safe drinking water at school essential for their health and learning. Today, Teuk Saat 1001 operates 350 water treatment stations across Cambodia, producing and delivering water locally. When schools lack access to safe drinking water, Teuk Saat 1001 subsidizes local entrepreneurs to deliver water free of charge, while also promoting safe drinking water practices among children.
The Water in School programme is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS). Unlike Teuk Saat 1001’s sustainable water kiosk model, Water in School is entirely philanthropic: water is provided free of charge to schools and the programme is funded through grants and donations.

Produced locally by trained entrepreneurs at community water kiosks and delivered directly to homes in 20L refillable bottles, O-we combines high standards of production with affordable prices and local impact.

For Add Your Drop, Teuk Saat 1001 is proud to collaborate with Jérémie KC, also known as Pu Barang, a French content creator based in Battambang, followed by 2.6M people on Facebook, 3.4M on TikTok and 325,000 on YouTube.
With shared roots in Battambang and a commitment to rural communities, this collaboration is a natural fit. Pu Barang actively contributes to the local community, economy and cultural life, while Teuk Saat 1001 has been working with rural communities across Cambodia for 20 years.

Add Your Drop is a fundraising and awareness campaign launched by Teuk Saat 1001 from October 15 to November 30, 2026, around the Water Festival, to support our Water in School programme.
Although the physical Water Festival in Phnom Penh has been cancelled, we want to keep its spirit alive by bringing people together around water and creating a national movement for safe drinking water for Cambodian children.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 from individuals in Cambodia, while inviting companies, partners and other supporters to join the movement and contribute beyond this target.
With the support of Jérémie KC (Pu Barang), our nationwide network of entrepreneurs, our teams, partners and—most importantly—everyone who joins the campaign, we aim to spread the word and make every drop count.
Teuk Saat 1001 is a Cambodian NGO working to improve the health of rural communities by providing sustainable access to safe drinking water through a social entrepreneurship model.
Teuk Saat 1001 establishes community-based water treatment stations (kiosks), recruits and trains local entrepreneurs to produce and deliver affordable safe water to surrounding communities, and monitors water quality to ensure safe and reliable water for consumers.
Today, our network includes 350 water treatment stations across 18 provinces, reaching more than 1.4 million people, including primary school children.
Alongside our sustainable water kiosk model, we run the Water in School programme, a fully philanthropic initiative providing free safe drinking water to primary schools near our water kiosks.
Your contribution supports the 2026–27 Water in School programme, providing a minimum of 0.6 litres of safe drinking water per child per school day to children in one of Teuk Saat 1001’s 1,000+ partner schools across Cambodia.
Around 370,000 children are expected to benefit in 2026–27.
Your donation helps subsidize local entrepreneurs for the production and delivery of the water, as well as water quality testing, reusable container management and programme follow-up.
Water is provided free of charge to schools.
